Task

To develop branding for a company specializing in stone processing.

Idea

Stone was the first material ever shaped by humankind. For inspiration, we turned to the art of ancient civilizations such as Ancient Greece and Rome, whose craftsmen mastered the art of working with stone.

Artigiano, translated from Italian, means “artisan, craftsman, master”, which perfectly reflects the essence of the brand.

The illustration style and logo were developed based on images of stonecutters from ancient sources, while the chosen typeface resembles ancient Roman lettering.

Result

A concise and minimalist visual identity that clearly expresses the essence of the brand.
